I have a 2006 Fat Boy and went on a ride the other weekend when the starter engaged by itself going down the highway. I was able to get to the side of the road and shut the bike off. I turned the ignition switch on and the bike would start without hitting the start button. I took apart the run and start button on the side of the road. There was a little water from me washing the bike the night before. I dried them off and everything is normal again. Do you think water might have been the cause of this and should I change the primary oil because the starter engaged when the bike was running? Ron

2011 Street Glide FLHX
This is my first bike, I waited 50 years to buy one. But hey it is never to late! I have found that there is nothing more relaxing than jumping on my street glide and just riding. I purchased the Fix My Hog DVD's because I eventually want to start doing all of my own services and repairs. Safe riding!

Road King
Here is my Road King. It is my first H-D. Used to ride rice burners when I was younger. I am 50 now. This is my daily driver. I love it. I bought your Touring Maintenance & Bolt On Performance bundle. Everything that seemed so intimidating before now is fast and easy. It really is amazing how little time scheduled maintenance really takes. I'll save the dealer for the big repairs... when they come... Great DVD's...

1997 FLHR – Oil in my Air Lines
I love the Touring DVDs. I have a 1997 FLHR. I have some fork oil showing up at the front air valve. Is this normal, a possible seal problem or possible overfill from my last service? The bike has not been laid down or fallen over. Any thoughts or whether I should be worried? Thanks and keep up the great work. – Mike
